Landscape Tradesman
We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Tradesman to join our growing team. If you have a strong background in landscaping, horticulture, and operating machinery, this is a great opportunity to work on diverse outdoor projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate landscaping equipment including excavators, bobcats, dingos, tillers, sod cutters, whipper snippers, augers, chainsaws, and drills
- Deliver high-quality landscaping services while ensuring client satisfaction
- Communicate directly with clients, answer queries, and address concerns professionally
- Plan, organise, and manage job sites to ensure efficient project completion
- Supervise and lead a small team, including training and managing on-site staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Report project progress, client feedback, and team performance to management
- Recommend improvements for workflow, safety, and productivity
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture
- Strong knowledge of horticultural practices such as planting, pruning, fertilisation, and garden maintenance
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools confidently
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Good mathematical and planning abilities
- Experience driving trucks and trailers
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
