Seasonal Team Members

  • Performs planting and related activities.
  • Moves materials and equipment and performs related duties to assist in landscaping and hardscaping.
  • Digs holes and trenches and excavates for hardscaping features using picks and shovels or related equipment.
  • Hauls or spreads topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or related materials using wheelbarrows and rakes.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including the work site and equipment.

Qualifications: 

  • High school certificate is preffered
  • Ability to read and write
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Seasonal Maintenance & Landscape Team Leaders

  • Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to excavators, bobcats, dingos, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, plant augers, chain saws, and drills.
  • Interacts with clients routinely answering questions and assuring client satisfaction.
  • Communicates clients concerns to management.
  • Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient       manner.
  • Manages a team of two or more employees, including handling personnel issues on site and training employees on policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
  • Briefs supervisors and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the landscaping or horticultural field.
  • Has a working knowledge of standard horticultural practices, including but not limited to planting, pruning, corrective pruning, and fertilization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills, job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must
  • Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Landscape Sales Professional

  • Generate new leads and conduct initial client consultation
  • Perform all phases of the sales/design process, including client meetings, cost estimates, proposals and project presentation
  • Organization of project materials and site details
  • Ensure accurate field verifications, measurements and analysis
  • Coordination with clients, production and subcontractors
  • Uphold the values of CCLS Landscaping, which include quality, leadership, teamwork and profitability

Qualifications:

  • Degree in landscape architecture or landscape design required, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Microsoft Office products; willingness and ability to learn proprietary software and other programs as necessary
  • Firm understanding of landscape plant material appropriate for the Illawara region; construction products, procedures and techniques; and proper planting techniques
  • Experience of installing plants and/or hardscaping materials a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
